Alexis Trojahn is a PhD student in Health Promotion Sciences at the University of Connecticut. Her research focuses on women’s health, particularly how women with autoimmune conditions access support, navigate health information, and manage their care. She is especially interested in digital health communication, community support networks, and equity-centered health promotion. In addition to her doctoral research, she works with UConn Student Health and Wellness Health Promotion to develop and evaluate peer mentorship and wellness initiatives that support student well-being and belonging within UConn’s Wellness Community.
